Biography
Emma Stone is an American actress known for her charm, comedic timing, and dramatic range. Born Emily Jean Stone on November 6, 1988, in Scottsdale, Arizona, she began acting at a young age in local theater productions. At 15, she convinced her parents to let her move to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time, famously presenting a PowerPoint pitch titled “Project Hollywood” to make her case.
Stone's early career included television appearances, most notably on the short-lived series Drive (2007). She made her film debut in the teen comedy Superbad (2007), which brought her immediate attention for her natural charisma. This was followed by standout roles in Zombieland (2009) and Easy A (2010), the latter earning her a Golden Globe nomination and solidifying her as a leading actress.
